Please note the following guidelines established by The Little Way for Moms and Kids to help ensure that everyone involved in our ministry has a positive experience at meetings, events, and playgroups.
1. Do supervise your children at all times. Always remember that your children are your responsibility. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety of your children
- Respecting the property of others
- Respecting the house rules of the hostess (e.g., staying out of rooms which are off limits, furniture rules, etc.)
- Monitoring your children’s interactions with the other children in the group
- Being readily available to help your child handle any situations that need adult intervention
- When meeting in a member’s home, please dispose of diapers by taking them with you when you leave. When meeting in a public place, please dispose of diapers properly.
2. Do be respectful of everyone.
- Please welcome and reach out to all members in the spirit of Christian friendship; avoid forming cliques that exclude members.
- Please engage in direct communication with other members, refraining from gossip.
- Please refrain from disciplining another mother’s child.
- Information about our members is considered confidential. Please do not distribute or share any member’s information without the member’s consent.
3. Do stay home if you or your children are sick. Please read our Wellness Policy for details.
4. Do clean up after yourselves and your children.
5. Do remember that The Little Way for Moms and Kids has a strict no smoking policy.
